City of Tombstone Appoints Jesse Grassman as Interim Fire Chief

Tombstone, AZ – The City of Tombstone is pleased to announce the appointment of Jesse Grassman as Interim Fire Chief of the Tombstone Fire Department, effective immediately.
 
Chief Grassman brings over 27 years of firefighting and emergency services experience, 14 years as Fire Chief in the City of Tombstone, with 24 years on the City of Tombstone Fire Department, along with a strong record of leadership, training, and community engagement. His appointment ensures continuity of operations while the City initiates a formal search for a permanent Fire Chief.
 
“Jesse Grassman has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and deep knowledge of fire service operations,” said Mayor Escapule. “We are confident that under his leadership, the department will continue to deliver the high level of service our residents and visitors expect.”
 
Chief Grassman has served the Tombstone Fire Department in various roles over the years, earning the respect of his peers and the community alike. In his new role as Interim Chief, he will oversee all aspects of fire and emergency response services, including emergency medical operations, fire prevention, training, and personnel management.
